We went to a Pub. Pubs here aren't like pubs at home or how I think most Americans picture them. They are more of a gathering place, like a coffee shop. They have food and beer but are family friendly. I haven't eaten anything strange yet.
Logan took me to Ely my first day here to keep me awake. It is his favorite place so far. It is really pretty and has a beautiful cathedral. I was tired I didn't take many pictures but I am sure we will go back and I can share more. We went to some shops there. There were lots of people walking around shopping and eating. It was a great environment. We have also gone to New Market which was a bit bigger than Eli and definitely bigger than Beck Row where we live. New Market had a mall. The mall was indoor outdoor. There would be a roof and suddenly it was gone. They don't have any central air here so mostly everything is outdoor. This is nice except it truly does rain a lot. I would say at least a little bit every day. Today is actually the nicest its been. The sun is shining and I can actually see a lot of blue sky through the clouds.
Our house is great. The kitchen is my favorite. I will add some pictures of it sometime. There are a lot of rooms so I am not sure what we will use them all for. The house is still pretty small but it is nice.
Christmas was great. Logan and I bought and decorated a tiny "Tree". We added our wedding ornament from Susie, some bulbs from the store, ribbon and colorful paperclips. It's a funny, sad little tree.. but we like it! We opened presents at midnight. Logan got me picture frames to hang in the stairwell - which I cannot wait to fill! - and I got Logan a fancy shower head.We cooked a small turkey dinner and made brownies as well.
I hope everyone else had a wonderful Christmas! Pray for my driving. A lot.
