European Road Trip | Santorini, Greece

Santorini, Greece has been my dream destination for many years. I was so excited to finally go. We spent an entire week in Santorini and it was fantastic. When we got there we found the room Carey found for us. It was a gorgeous tiny place with a pool.  We rented a little blue convertible to get around the tight streets of the island.  Now this little blue car was not fancy at all... we referred to it as the rotten blueberry. We walked around a town called Oia that is known for the most gorgeous sunset views in the world.
On day 14 we went to a beach and relaxed. Carey and I had fish Pedicures where tiny fish eat the dead skin off your feet. It felt so funny but really worked! We again had dinner in Oia.

On day 15 we took a boat tour that took us to natural hot springs around a volcano.  The water was really warm. 

On day 16 we did the Santorini Escape Room for most of the afternoon. They lock you in little rooms and you find the clues to get out. It was a lot of fun. That night we went to our favorite event from Santorini - a Greek wedding.  This was an interactive play where a family invites the guests to a wedding. They fed us tapas and we got to dance and break plates. It was an absolute blast and I recommend it to anyone. 

On our last day in Santorini we hung out by the pool and relaxed. That night we found a traditional music café where two men played as we ate outside.  The village that the café was in was really interesting with walkways all throughout. The café was relaxing and the people who ran it were extremely friendly. It was a great way to end our time in Santorini.
