Riga, Latvia

Last weekend I had the opportunity to travel to a country I had never heard of before. I went to the city of Riga in Latvia. This country borders Russia and is one of the three Baltic countries - Estonia, Lithuania, and Latvia. Riga is the largest cities in these countries.  Logan was able to travel for a weekend so he flew me there to see him. Riga was not the most exciting of cities but we had a great time and it was so wonderful to see Logan for the first time in two months. We were back on the right side and hearing a language we don't know! Luckily, everyone we spoke to spoke English as well. Here are a few pictures of Riga! Enjoy :)

^  The Freedom Monument

^ The Changing of the Guards

^ Taken from the inside of our bus tour.. please excuse the reflections :)

^ I started to take a picture of this guy before I had dropped money into his cup. I immediately got a shaking finger and "no, no, no, lady!"

^ Blurry faced Logan, but the only picture we got together.  Also, the most delicious steak we ever have had.

^ Our dinner dates!
 ^Logan's usual ;)

^ Night photos are a constant struggle for me, someday!

It was a great trip. I am so happy I was able to spend some time with Logan! Next week I'm back to the states for a while and I simply cannot wait to see my family and friends!
