European Road Trip | Zermatt, Switzerland
Our final big stop on our trip was Zermatt. This is another car-free city so we parked our RV a bit further down the mountain and took a short train ride to Zermatt. Zermatt was so different than the rest of our trip. It was in the Alps and it was cold and it was beautiful. We mostly just walked around the little city and admired the surroundings. We took a cable car further up the mountain to what they call "glacier paradise" and viewed Zermatt and the Alps from above. We hiked along the mountains and found interesting bridges. Zermatt was a wonderful place.
Our last night of our trip we spent in Luxembourg, mostly just to say we've been there. haha. Afterwards we headed back to England.
The European Road Trip was a trip of a lifetime. We drove through a total of 9 countries in 30 days and it was amazing. I am so thankful for that we had this opportunity.

European Road Trip | Venice, Italy
I have no idea if my day count is correct.
After we ferried back from Santorini, we drove back through Greece and ferried back to Italy.
We then drove to our campsite that was just a boat taxi away from Venice, Italy. Venice is so cool! There are no cars, there are boats for everything. We saw a fireboat, a police boat, and even a trash collector boat. Venice is mostly made up of tourists so everywhere you turn is an art museum or souvenir shop. It was still a really neat place to walk around and definitely still very Italian. We ate more pasta and more gelato, found a really creative bookstore, and saw the Bridge of Sighs (kissing underneath at sunset during a gondola ride is good luck.. or something like that.) Carey spent the first day with us there and then flew back to Rome to fly back to the states. We are so glad she was able to join us on part of our trip. The second day in Venice we took a Gondola ride with what I'm pretty sure is one of the best gondoliers out there. We saw some who were playing on their phones as they toured but ours was awesome. He has been a gondolier for over twenty years and knew a lot about the city. The gondolier was one of my favorite parts of the trip. The next day we relaxed before we headed to the last stop on our trip.
